Bannon is Latest Domino to Tumble, Birther Redux More

The unbelievable destructive leftist media, in their sustained volley of shots at president Trump, pick and choose which issues to purvey, which stories fit their narrative and which undermine their assertions to be ignored. News was always a-political and unbiased years ago. The main idea was to bring the whole, factual picture to your readers and later, viewers.

But the news has taken a dark turn. This weeks solar eclipse has cast a shadow on the nation, literally, and the news media has also cast a dark cloud on what is important in this country and it's basic tenets. Nowadays, one must discern which news outlets are known politico's, which serve the left and which serve a more balanced content.

On Friday August 25, while Hurricane Harvey comes ashore here in Texas, President Trump dared the media to divert their attention and issued a pardon to former Maricopa County, Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio. The Presidential pardon is being widely seen in the media as a gross violation of rule of law. Predictably. My understanding of the case is that the Sheriff must have changed his whole outlook on law enforcement, one which he traded on for over 40 years. He would have to have broken his unblemished record of administration, of his personal conduct and his time as leader of the most illegal-immigration action in the U.S.

No, my belief is Sheriff Joe espouses the core beliefs that we hold dear in the Unites States; including enforcing the rule of law. Joe Arpaio knew what the rule of law was and what it should be. He knew when the Democrats were putting pressure on the legal system. We citizens ask that the rule of law be enforced and Sheriff Joe embraced that and more. His treatment of undocumented and other detainees was refreshing given the climate President Obama established in this regard. Illegals were afforded unprecedented aid and comfort. Sheriff Joe was widely reviled by some in the Latino community for his serious lack of empathy for criminal aliens.

About the case against him, which is under appeal, he says it is a political witch hunt. He says the federal guidelines were, in fact, implemented and his team disseminated the new, approved procedures, even though they didn't agree, and never ever advised officers to disregard them.  Critics and prosecutors say he knowingly allowed his officers to disregard the order, all untrue according to Arpaio.

Political Turnover

Steve Bannon is the latest domino to tumble in the White House staff President Trump assembled. Over the past month, prior to Bannon, 4 people were fired or have left their
posts in the White House:

National Security Council(NSC) member Rich Higgins, Dir. Strategic Planning
Ezra Cohen-Watnick, Intelligence Division on NSC
Derek Harvey, Middle East adviser
Tera Dahl, Deputy Chief of Staff

These Cabinet staffers were all dimissed by new National Security Advisor H. R. McMaster.
McMaster, a retired military general officer, replaced Michael Flynn, also an Army General who resigned due to revelations about inappropriate behavior early in the federal probe into Russian meddling in the US' 2016 elections.

Bannon was the acknowledged right-wing voice in the cabinet, a former editor of Brietbart news and an ally of Flynn.
While this title seemed to detract from coverage of the administration, Trump stood behind his guy, defending him against nationalistic and racist charges being thrown at him. There are several appointees in the Trump government with this charge being carried around the media's influential narrative.

I looked up charges of racism against one of his cabinet, Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Trump appointed Sessions as a replacement for Loretta Lynch and immediately drew this criticism. The first item I found was reports of a conversation he had while in recess of a court proceeding regarding the murders committed by two ku klux klan members against two black victims. When informed the klan defendants had once been convicted of possessing marijuana, and asked if this changed his opinion of them, he joked, "...like the klan was ok til I found out they smoked weed".

These kinds of baseless racist claims are the kind of garbage that is floated on the internet sewer. I'm very careful which media assertions I go with. First, it has to pass the smell test, and racist charges against Sessions...something smells funny.

Higgins, the NSC Director of Strategic planning was dismissed amid a storm of controversy surrounding an internal memo he wrote and sent to everyone on the NSC and the Cabinet. Some sources have asserted the memo never maid it to Trump's desk, but McMaster called Higgins in and told him to make a choice. He chose to leave. Sometimes a person will resign rather than see his record tarnished by a possible unfavorable litigation outcome . Makes getting hired again much easier.

Trump was said to be livid when he found out about the memo, read it and was then informed the author was fired by McMaster. H.R. McMaster is widely seen from the rail as a force of cleaning house in the president's list of advisors. The content of the memo is what got Higgins fired, it is a sentiment which is strongly shared by Bannon and others in the cabinet regarding a lack of urgency in regards to Islamic fundamentalism and the level of the threat. Issues in this arena which are also highly criticized such as the travel ban on terrorist countries to the reforming of the immigration requirements are supported by Bannon, Higgins and other appointees Trunmp has brought in but opposed by McMaster, Kelly and other more globalist cabinet members.

Deep State

“A cabal of leftist “deep state” government workers, “globalists,” bankers, adherents to Islamic fundamentalism and establishment Republicans are conspiring to remove President Trump and impose cultural Marxism in the United States..”  -Rich Higgins, leaked NSC memo from July 2017

Imagine a force, a cadre of undeclared officers actively seeking to upend and degrade a new president's agenda. They would be leftovers of the former liberal regime. This is what the so-called "deep state" is all about. Some have been dismissed by the Trump administration, some have been invited to retire. Every government employee serves at the pleasure of the administration in office, and when the regime changes and changes ideologically, there is a large turnover. There are administrators up and down the food chain in the government who were loyal to Obama and are secretly horrified at the election's outcome. They want to keep their jobs, but they secretly and criminally resist the presidents agenda and through leaks and subversion seek to create havoc.

Birther redux

Notables who’ve asked the right question:

Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt in 2009, "What I don’t know is why the President can’t produce a birth certificate. (Weigel, 2009)

US Senator from Alabama Richard Shelby, “…I still haven’t seen a birth certificate...” McCreless, 2009 (McCreless, 2009)

US Senator and Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, “I don't see any reason a candidate who has such a serious question would not come forward with the truth about where he was born” (LeBlanc, 2017)

'Look it's really simple. If he is a U.S. citizen you produce the papers. If he's not a U.S. citizen, what does he do? He hides them. He's hiding them. We need the truth. (Matthew Hill, 2009)

Since before Barack Obama became our 44th president, there were public requests to see his birth certificate. Since being born in the U.S. is a requirement, having clear proof of your US-soil birth has been required. It is only one of many things the authorities verify when you are registered as a candidate for national, political office. All Senators and Congressmen and women, all Judicial candidates and of course, Presidential and Gubernitorial candidates as well.
No reason has ever been given as to why the candidate Barack Obama was approved without providing a birth certificate to the investigators. No birth certificate was offered, and the explanation the Obama people supplied was one of Barack being born in Hawaii to his mother without his father. He wouldn't see his father again for a time, even after moving to Indonesia he did not see his father often. Once back in the U.S. he was enrolled in school again.
The problem with the birth certificate is that it didn't surface for almost 3 years after it would normally be disclosed, prior to November 6. In that time pressure built, it was a distraction. The media established that additional discussion of it was only by racist tea party types. Donald Trump and Joe Arpaio were two of the highest profile birthers.  The subject of his birth certificate was relegated to the back pages and only brought forward by "racist" and "redneck" enemies of President Obama.

Hawaii never came forward and offered a copy of the eventually "found" certificate, but officials there nonetheless deemed the document "authentic".

The narrative that has come out of this discussion is "you must be a racist to not accept the clear proof". One cannot simply question the validity of a candidate without being branded racist and not to be taken seriously. The fact is there is one aspect to this suppression of information that hasn't been explored enough, and that is the severe time gap.

The fact that this candidate, in 2007 when campaigning, was never fully investigated is mind boggling. He didn't show a birth certificate then and continued to delay for three more years.

Now we have a birth certificate of the 44th President but we have no confidence that is it authentic.
