Bannon is Latest Domino to Tumble, Birther Redux More

The unbelievable destructive leftist media, in their sustained volley of shots at president Trump, pick and choose which issues to purvey, which stories fit their narrative and which undermine their assertions to be ignored. News was always a-political and unbiased years ago. The main idea was to bring the whole, factual picture to your readers and later, viewers.

But the news has taken a dark turn. This weeks solar eclipse has cast a shadow on the nation, literally, and the news media has also cast a dark cloud on what is important in this country and it's basic tenets. Nowadays, one must discern which news outlets are known politico's, which serve the left and which serve a more balanced content.

On Friday August 25, while Hurricane Harvey comes ashore here in Texas, President Trump dared the media to divert their attention and issued a pardon to former Maricopa County, Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio. The Presidential pardon is being widely seen in the media as a gross violation of rule of law. Predictably. My understanding of the case is that the Sheriff must have changed his whole outlook on law enforcement, one which he traded on for over 40 years. He would have to have broken his unblemished record of administration, of his personal conduct and his time as leader of the most illegal-immigration action in the U.S.

No, my belief is Sheriff Joe espouses the core beliefs that we hold dear in the Unites States; including enforcing the rule of law. Joe Arpaio knew what the rule of law was and what it should be. He knew when the Democrats were putting pressure on the legal system. We citizens ask that the rule of law be enforced and Sheriff Joe embraced that and more. His treatment of undocumented and other detainees was refreshing given the climate President Obama established in this regard. Illegals were afforded unprecedented aid and comfort. Sheriff Joe was widely reviled by some in the Latino community for his serious lack of empathy for criminal aliens.

About the case against him, which is under appeal, he says it is a political witch hunt. He says the federal guidelines were, in fact, implemented and his team disseminated the new, approved procedures, even though they didn't agree, and never ever advised officers to disregard them.  Critics and prosecutors say he knowingly allowed his officers to disregard the order, all untrue according to Arpaio.

Political Turnover

Steve Bannon is the latest domino to tumble in the White House staff President Trump assembled. Over the past month, prior to Bannon, 4 people were fired or have left their
posts in the White House:

National Security Council(NSC) member Rich Higgins, Dir. Strategic Planning
Ezra Cohen-Watnick, Intelligence Division on NSC
Derek Harvey, Middle East adviser
Tera Dahl, Deputy Chief of Staff

These Cabinet staffers were all dimissed by new National Security Advisor H. R. McMaster.
McMaster, a retired military general officer, replaced Michael Flynn, also an Army General who resigned due to revelations about inappropriate behavior early in the federal probe into Russian meddling in the US' 2016 elections.

Bannon was the acknowledged right-wing voice in the cabinet, a former editor of Brietbart news and an ally of Flynn.
While this title seemed to detract from coverage of the administration, Trump stood behind his guy, defending him against nationalistic and racist charges being thrown at him. There are several appointees in the Trump government with this charge being carried around the media's influential narrative.

I looked up charges of racism against one of his cabinet, Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Trump appointed Sessions as a replacement for Loretta Lynch and immediately drew this criticism. The first item I found was reports of a conversation he had while in recess of a court proceeding regarding the murders committed by two ku klux klan members against two black victims. When informed the klan defendants had once been convicted of possessing marijuana, and asked if this changed his opinion of them, he joked, "...like the klan was ok til I found out they smoked weed".

These kinds of baseless racist claims are the kind of garbage that is floated on the internet sewer. I'm very careful which media assertions I go with. First, it has to pass the smell test, and racist charges against Sessions...something smells funny.

Higgins, the NSC Director of Strategic planning was dismissed amid a storm of controversy surrounding an internal memo he wrote and sent to everyone on the NSC and the Cabinet. Some sources have asserted the memo never maid it to Trump's desk, but McMaster called Higgins in and told him to make a choice. He chose to leave. Sometimes a person will resign rather than see his record tarnished by a possible unfavorable litigation outcome . Makes getting hired again much easier.

Trump was said to be livid when he found out about the memo, read it and was then informed the author was fired by McMaster. H.R. McMaster is widely seen from the rail as a force of cleaning house in the president's list of advisors. The content of the memo is what got Higgins fired, it is a sentiment which is strongly shared by Bannon and others in the cabinet regarding a lack of urgency in regards to Islamic fundamentalism and the level of the threat. Issues in this arena which are also highly criticized such as the travel ban on terrorist countries to the reforming of the immigration requirements are supported by Bannon, Higgins and other appointees Trunmp has brought in but opposed by McMaster, Kelly and other more globalist cabinet members.

Deep State

“A cabal of leftist “deep state” government workers, “globalists,” bankers, adherents to Islamic fundamentalism and establishment Republicans are conspiring to remove President Trump and impose cultural Marxism in the United States..”  -Rich Higgins, leaked NSC memo from July 2017

Imagine a force, a cadre of undeclared officers actively seeking to upend and degrade a new president's agenda. They would be leftovers of the former liberal regime. This is what the so-called "deep state" is all about. Some have been dismissed by the Trump administration, some have been invited to retire. Every government employee serves at the pleasure of the administration in office, and when the regime changes and changes ideologically, there is a large turnover. There are administrators up and down the food chain in the government who were loyal to Obama and are secretly horrified at the election's outcome. They want to keep their jobs, but they secretly and criminally resist the presidents agenda and through leaks and subversion seek to create havoc.

Birther redux

Notables who’ve asked the right question:

Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt in 2009, "What I don’t know is why the President can’t produce a birth certificate. (Weigel, 2009)

US Senator from Alabama Richard Shelby, “…I still haven’t seen a birth certificate...” McCreless, 2009 (McCreless, 2009)

US Senator and Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, “I don't see any reason a candidate who has such a serious question would not come forward with the truth about where he was born” (LeBlanc, 2017)

'Look it's really simple. If he is a U.S. citizen you produce the papers. If he's not a U.S. citizen, what does he do? He hides them. He's hiding them. We need the truth. (Matthew Hill, 2009)

Since before Barack Obama became our 44th president, there were public requests to see his birth certificate. Since being born in the U.S. is a requirement, having clear proof of your US-soil birth has been required. It is only one of many things the authorities verify when you are registered as a candidate for national, political office. All Senators and Congressmen and women, all Judicial candidates and of course, Presidential and Gubernitorial candidates as well.
No reason has ever been given as to why the candidate Barack Obama was approved without providing a birth certificate to the investigators. No birth certificate was offered, and the explanation the Obama people supplied was one of Barack being born in Hawaii to his mother without his father. He wouldn't see his father again for a time, even after moving to Indonesia he did not see his father often. Once back in the U.S. he was enrolled in school again.
The problem with the birth certificate is that it didn't surface for almost 3 years after it would normally be disclosed, prior to November 6. In that time pressure built, it was a distraction. The media established that additional discussion of it was only by racist tea party types. Donald Trump and Joe Arpaio were two of the highest profile birthers.  The subject of his birth certificate was relegated to the back pages and only brought forward by "racist" and "redneck" enemies of President Obama.

Hawaii never came forward and offered a copy of the eventually "found" certificate, but officials there nonetheless deemed the document "authentic".

The narrative that has come out of this discussion is "you must be a racist to not accept the clear proof". One cannot simply question the validity of a candidate without being branded racist and not to be taken seriously. The fact is there is one aspect to this suppression of information that hasn't been explored enough, and that is the severe time gap.

The fact that this candidate, in 2007 when campaigning, was never fully investigated is mind boggling. He didn't show a birth certificate then and continued to delay for three more years.

Now we have a birth certificate of the 44th President but we have no confidence that is it authentic.

Drudge Traffic

For a few minutes today, Matt Drudge and his staff had a good time theming their lead stories. The webpage traffic is king of online hits, and his headline blurbs over each article's link are humorous and scathing. And today, very entertaining!

Each entry below was a link to a news story.
The Obama story was replaced by the WSJ and Dick Morris links around 7 pm central.

OBAMA THINKS TRUMP A 'BULLSHITTER'
'SABOTAGE' IN DC...

DEFIANT TRUMP VOWS 'FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT'...

WSJ: The Special Counsel Mistake...
DICK MORRIS: IT'S A DISASTER...

Matt Drudge started his ascention in alternative media outlets years ago in the Clinton/Lewinsky affair. He was partners with or the person responsible for breaking the semen-stained dress revelation through the website "Little Green Footballs".

The blurbs also tell a story about the present climate for the conservatist, he knows what pushes our buttons, he knows what infuriates us and he knows how to sell ad space!

Cyber Warfare Advantage: United States < China?

Chinese State hackers have been busy, as usual. Since the 90's, China has been ramping up their cyber abilities, planting seeds for the future in US' and other countries' computer systems. China expects the modern battlefield to be here. Now. Cyber space.

Today, the Earth got Hacked.

Reports came flooding in on Friday, and by the time it was over more than 90 countries had critical infrastructure frozen and computer networks forcibly shut down. It is called an extortion spyware program which holds the computer network hostage until a ransom is paid.

The U.K.'s hospital system was shut down. Patients were turned away, and widespread computer and phone networks weren't' working at all. Any non-critical procedures were postponed. In Russia, their Interior Ministry networks were effected. The list goes on, Taiwan, Spain, and mostly limited to FedEx corporate networks the U.S. as well. Chances are the origins of the malicious spyware will be traced back to China.

China has been the most prolific actor in cyber warfare in the past 10 years. For good reason, in 1998 two Chinese military analysts produced a book detailing how China can enter in a war with the U.S. and not suffer the sever disadvantage of the U.S.'s clearly superior military force. Through the use of cyber warfare hundreds of hacker rooms with thousands of cyber analysts can interrupt the control of computer reliant systems such as the elite carrier groups who roam the oceans. Through cyber warfare, the true capabilities of which we cannot know, it is possible the Chinese have invested in a style of warfare that may cancel out conventional weapons.

Hactivist groups like Anonymous create chaos.

North Korea and it's leader, son-of-the-dear-one Kim Jung-un have continued to ratchet up pressure on South Korea. So much so that President Trump has agreed to deploy the THAAD missile system in Seoul, the multi-million populated capital less than 100 miles from North Korea missile and artillery lines.

Of course, Jung-un and his closely-controlled government have protested this, and through further ballistic missile tests and another nuclear test, have incurred the concerted alarm of it's South Pacific neighbors. In fact, North Korea has attempted to hack into the THAAD system in Seoul.

N. Korea leader Kim Jung-un reviews a parade

The Cyber threat has been building for some time now. When Google was hacked in 2009 and it's proprietary information stolen, their investigators traced the action back to the Chinese Hainan Island facility.
According to Richard Clarke in his book, Cyber War, "...The extent of Chinese government hacking against U.S., European, and Japanese industries and research facilities is without precedent in the history of espionage. Exabytes of data have been copied from universities, industrial labs, and government facilities bio engineering designs, to nanotechnology, to weapons systems, to everyday industrial products have been taken by the People's Liberation Army and by private hacking groups and given to China, Inc..."

North Korean missile launch March 2017

Files, email accounts and intellectually proprietary source codes had been exposed on, among others, Adobe, Dow Chemical, Northrop Grumman and Google. Subsequently, Google was hacked again just a week ago on May 4, 2017.
When someone opines why the world is preoccupied with war, the answer is simple: don't be the last one to learn about it. Once the day comes when war is imposed on you, it will be too late.

Recently Jung-un has made remarks of how DPRK forces will sink American carriers and submarines. This is probably behind his false confidence.

Is it the right time for a Convention of States?

If we ever wish to get congressional term limits we'll have to do it ourselves under Article V

When the founders and framers of our constitution pondered this problem, they wanted to make sure we, the people, would have a way to go around congress if a clear majority of the people demonstrated that is what they wanted. The mechanism is called "Convention of States" and it is our tool to propose amendments to the Constitution or to add or change articles.

Under Article I, Congress has the authority to act on behalf of the people as it sees fit, to consider laws, proposals and funding for those ideas. However, on matters that Congress will not and would not act, individual States may petition Congress to call a Convention of States under Article V. Once 34 requests have been made to call a convention of States for the purpose of considering the same topic, the Convention of States is triggered and Congress must "Call" the Convention. At that time, the States will select and send delegates to attend the Convention. Once Congress "calls" the convention it has no part of the convention, the application, the selection of delegates, the topics to be discussed or the ratification process. All of that is left up to the States.

As it should be. Thank you George Mason.

There is a petition circulating social media now. Sign it. It gives links to resources. Find the groups in your state who are actively seeking the convention.

The United States government is in fact, of the people and for the people. The American people who believe in self governance know that corruption will continue with special interests inside our federal government. They'll have no traction if the maximum time allowed in Congress is only two to four years.

From the Congressional Record

From YouTube transcribed by katykarter from Congressional Testimony in October 2016

A few bits of the congressional investigation and James Comey's testimony within the Hillary Clinaton email scandal.
The FBI, who conducted the "investigation" of the Democratic candidate for President, and their director, Obama-appointee James Comey are grilled by Rep. Chaffetts and others regarding the "irregularities" of the FBI's investigation.

First is Rep. Darrell Issa, (R-CA) in his upbraiding of Comey over the legal immunity from prosecution given to Clinton's aides on destroying evidence and obstruction of justice.

These individuals destroyed documents persuant or took it out of Federal Custody, persuant to our subpoena, our discovery, and as a result they committed crimes...The DoJ does not grant immunity without checking with Federal law enforcement to see if it impacts ongoing investigations.

(Comey) "I don't think anyone was given transactional immunity..."

Oh, really? Well we are not allowed to make your immunities public, but I'm going to take the privelege of making one part of it public. I read them. You gave immunity from destruction to both those attorneys, not just turning them the documents over but specifically destruction. You did the same thing with these other two individuals Brian and Paul. You gave them immunity from destruction.

Rep. John Ratcliffe, (R-TX) reads from the FBI's own report on the probable cause to investigate Clinton:

The FBI didn't have the Clinton's personal Apple server used for Hillary Clinton work emails. That was never located so the FBI could never examine it.
An Apple Mac book lap top and thumb drive that contained Hillary Clinton's email archives  was lost so the FBI never examined that.
Two Blackberry devices provided to the FBI didn' t have sim cards or SD data cards.
13 Hillary Clinton personal mobile devices were lost, discarded or destroyed with a hammer so the FBI clearly didn't examine those
Various server backups were deleted over time so the FBI didn't examine that
After the State Department and my colleague Mr. Gowdy here notified Mrs. Clinton that her records would be sought by the Benghazi Committee, copies of her emails on the lap tops of both of her lawyers Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson were wiped clean with bleach bit so the FBI didn't review that
After those emails were subpoena'd Hillary Clinton's email archive was also permanantly deleted from the Platte River Network with bleach bit so the FBI didn' t  review that
And also after the subpoena backups of the Platte River Network were manually deleted.
...collectively they scream obstruction of justice. To ignore them really leads not only reasonable prosecutors but reasonable people to question whether the decision to prosecute was already decided.

Understatement of the Century

This summation by a member of the Committee

Director Comey in your opening comments you said this was an unusual case, I would say that's the understatement of the year:

Husband of the subject meets with the Attorney General three days before Secretary Clinton is interviewed by the FBI. 9 people get to sit in with Secretary Clinton during that interview, one of those was her chief of staff Cheryl Mills who was a subject of the investigation. 5 people get some kind of immunity yet no one is prosecuted. 3 of those people getting immunity take  the 5th in front of congress and one of them doesn't even bother to show up when he's subpoena'd, supposed to be at that very chair you're sitting at...

The Attorney General announces she's going to follow your recommendations even though she
doesn't know what those recommendations are- the only time she's ever done that.

Rep. Jason Chaffets drills FBI Director Comey for the truth regarding corruption, collusion and cover up.

Hillary Clinton did come to posess documents and materials containing classified information via email on these unsecured servers, correct?

"That is correct"

Did Hillary Clinton lie?

"To the FBI? We have no basis to conclude that she lied to the FBI"

Did she lie to the public?

"Thats a question I'm not qualified to answer. I can speak about what she said to the FBI"

Did Hillary Clinton lie under oath?

"Not to the FBI, not on a case we were working"

Did you review the documents where Jim Jordan asked her specifically, and she said quote ' there was nothing marked classified on my emails either sent or recieved' end quote?

"I don't remember reviewing that particular testimoney but I'm aware of that being said though"

Did the FBI investigate her statements under oath on this topic?

"Not to my knowledge. I don' t think there's been a referral from Congress"

Do you need a referral from Congress to investigate her statements under oath?

"Sure do"

You'll have one. You'll have one in the next few hours.

Did Hillary Clinton break the law?

"In connection with her use of the email server?..my judgement is she did not"

You're just not able to prosecute it, or did Hillary Clinton break the law?

"Well, I don' t want to give an overly lawyerly answer, but the question I always look at is is there evidence that would establish beyond a reasonable doubt that somebody engaged in conduct that violated a criminal statute. And my judgement here is there is not"

In the timeline of Congressional testimony and the Presidential elections of 2016, Clinton, the Democratic frontrunner is under fire for using a private email server during her tenure at State,  and conducting State Department business on it.

Many politicians and federal employees such as State use private email servers, but they are forbidden to put official business on them and are strictly forbidden to posses, view, send or receive communications marked classified (and there are different levels of classification to be sure), over these unsecured email servers, potentially exposing sensitive materials to unsecure communications and unauthorized possession by foreign or enemy intelligence services.

Under the espionage act, it is a crime to allow classified materials onto unsecured servers and other mediums through negligence, incompetence and can result in criminal charges and ultimately espionage charges.

It is extremely questionable and disturbing that the FBI, after all the "unusual" aspects of this case chose not to pursue criminal charges for and in fact granted immunity to those who were responsible for the crimes being committed and not charging Secretary of State Clinton with knowingly allowing subpoena'd evidence to be destroyed among other "crimes".

Russian Hackers, Russian Spies and The American Information Buffet

In the 2016 Election cycle, claims of Russian interference and  Russian meddling were outdone by Democratic and leftists' claims post-election that Russia actively participated in U.S. election rigging.

According to an indictment in a San Fransisco Federal Court Wednesday,  Yahoo email subscribers' personal information was compromised by a Russian national at the alleged direction of the top Russian Intelligence agency, the FSB.

In a New York Times article dated March 15, Reporters Goldstien and Schwirtz introduce us to the main players in a hacking scheme to access personal information of U.S. citizens within the Yahoo Email servers, Russian nationals and Russian politicians as well as a Canadian-hacker scheme to gain access to Gmail servers.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/15/us/politics/indictment-collusion-cyberthief-russian-spies-yahoo.html

According to court records, some of the accounts that were penetrated belonged to American government officials, “including cybersecurity, diplomatic, military and White House personnel,” according to the indictment.

Alexey Belan is a Russian citizen and a computer hacker and scam artist. Well known for identity theft and already wanted by US authorities, he could tweak Yahoo servers to send inquiries into erectile issues rerouted so he could get commissions from Russian pharmacies to fill orders. Apparently identity thieves work well for Intelligence services who would exploit them.

Two weeks ago it was revealed the premier intelligence agency of the US Govt was caught using spyware and cyber-espionage tools to hack other intelligence services and leave a clever trail to lead suspicion to Russian hackers. In a Wikileaks data-dump it was revealed the CIA had learned how to imitate Russia's Federal Security Service or FSB. Their tools, programs, methods and modes were revealed to the public and opposing intelligence agencies.

This is a disclosure of information so precious to clandestine operations and cyber-espionage contacts and tactics. This is a get even event: All intelligence agencies have just gotten even with the CIA.

It's a whole new ballgame and everyone is starting from scratch,
including the US Intelligence services.

Look for Donald Trump to keep the hammer down.

Trump: I'll drain the swamp, Build the wall and Bring back jobs

March 8, 2017 and President Trump is off to the races.

During his campaign Donald Trump solidly connected with the majority of Americans about the need to cut out political corruption in Washington D.C.
He has begun the intricate task of identifying and eliminating partisan people in positions of power who oppose his new mandate, and thereby the "people's" mandate.

Intelligence Community

Over the past 8 years, Obama appointed to positions of leadership men and women who he was sure would back him up in his agenda of "rolling America back". This strategy called for a more recalcitrant America, a more humble, apologetic America noting publicly the flaws of the former administrations' approach to foreign policy. Outwardly, he broadcast the intentions of a globalist now firmly in power and able to make "deals" more amenable to our rivals which would draw our rivals into partnership instead of contesting and contempt.
The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is led by Lt. Gen Vincent R. Stewart
The National Security Agency (NSA) is led by Admiral Michael Rogers
The State Dept's Bureau of Intelligence and Research is led by Daniel B. Smith
The Director of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency is Robert Cardillo
The Director of the National Reconnaissance Office is Betty Sapp
The Director of the FBI is James Comey
The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence is led by Steven K. Black
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Intelligence and Analysis is led by Gen. Francis X. Taylor

All of these heads are Obama leftovers. As informed readers you know all outgoing administration staff tender their resignations for the incoming team to consider. They are usually accepted. In the intelligence community it is imperative that all agencies work together. Sharing information, open door policies. Politics should stay at the street where they turned into their government parking spot each morning. For these heads and the team of staff behind them, it's critical to get them replaced early and their staff assembled as quickly as possible. Don't let months go by before real work can begin.

There's a bad problem in the Trump administration right now. He is being opposed by people within the many branches and sub-branches. Information is being illegally leaked and recent wikileaks bombshell data disclosures put the US intelligence agencies in a bright light of suspicion and new calls for investigation.

Building the Wall

Building a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border was a theme central to Donald Trump's campaign. The inference being that the serious problem of thousands of undocumented immigrants crossing the porous southern border must be brought under control right away. Trump knows the history of this issue and knows the GOP have argued for this for decades, and even when legislation was passed Democrats have managed to limit the project to what we have today.

Current estimates have about 700 of the roughly 2,000 mile southern border fenced or walled by a variety of barriers. US Border patrol utilizes technology as a "digital wall" also. Some 8,000 cameras at ports of entry and along the borders, more than 11,000 underground sensors, 107 aircraft, eight drones, 175 mobile surveillance units and 84 boats.

But opinions are mixed if even a wall will stop someone who wants to come here. This would be the same ideology that would argue you can't deport 11 million people. In search of a plan going forward from such an impasse and not finding one, I'll supply mine:

This won't stop the most determined, the most dedicated or even every single illegal alien. But it will stop many. The way here now is very easy. If you have money, it's even easier. Now I know walking through a desert isn't easy. However, there are water stations and support for those trekking to the US. There are sancturary cities and states (CA) where illegal aliens can get social services and even drivers licenses. They can even vote!

So no, it won't stop every one, but it will stop many. And the infrastructure we have now will last for future generations of legal American citizens. What is missing is the love and support of future generations of Americans and compassion for what they will have to deal with as a result of what we do now to combat this problem.

A recent story in the L.A. Times documented a Los Angeles area family who lost their daughter to a drunk driver who was a five-time deportee who also had a DUI conviction in the State of California. But even though they grieve for their daughter, they are worried about the effect their daughter's death will have concerning so many still out there.

From the LA Times:
"I often wonder, Why us?” he said, pausing to look toward heaven. “But I can accept it, because the man up there knows we're all just passing through.”
He said he’s haunted by the thought that his daughter’s death was avoidable, knowing that Alvarado remained in the country given his criminal history. But he is also worried that his daughter's death could be used as a political weapon against huge swaths of immigrants in the country illegally.
"It's ruined our life. This person had DUIs and deportations,” he said. “But whatever I say now isn't going to bring my daughter back. I worry, I worry about the people that are here already and settled here already and have families already and have their kids in school. I worry for those people."

Proper enforcement of the present laws will prevent this from happening in many, many cases. Can I say in all? No. But I don't buy into the notion that anti-immigrant sentiment is at an all time high. That there are unfair targeting of hard working illegals or that crime against illegals has spiked.  I think people's sentiments are from a standpoint of fix the problem. We love our legal immigrants so fix the problem!

Jobs and the Economy, stupid

Job numbers came out today for the month of February, 298k in the private sector up from 277k in January. These are robust numbers at the same time the stock market moved over 20,000 in trading volume for the first time in it's history. These are indicators that the economy is swelling and more commerce is taking place and will continue to rise.

It's been pretty clear in my line of work as a contractor and remodeling company: when the economy is down and there is fear and uncertainty, not only do prices go up for necessities (fuels, energy, etc), but people don't want to take on large projects and make large expenditures. Simply prudent behavior. Now with the economy growing and prospects for it's continued growth I expect that freedom in movement to "trickle down" to my level. Individual homeowners will feel free to improve their houses, buy new houses and remodel older houses. All of which cost money. All of which is an investment and a good return on the capital they have laid down to do it. All enabled because of confidence.

If I had no other problems with him, and I had there's plenty, Barack Obama never provided us with a sense of confidence.

We'll have to wait and see if Trump can manage to deliver on all his campaign promises but he's off to a good start.

Alt Facts for a bunch of Alt Romeo's

"Alt" Facts are those assertions made in partisan fashion that support the oppositions position. It's simple. As is the case with the top level state department officials being "fired". If you read about it in the UK press, the officials quit. If you read state departments own press release, these officials' letters of resignation were accepted. What you'd find if you actually read the entire independentUK.com article, because it was buried in the second-to-last and last paragraphs, is that previous administrations officials ALL submit their resignations for the consideration of the incoming administration. The headline: "...entire senior management team quits...". Alt facts for the alt reader.

So do you have an "alt" point of view? That depends on which side of any issue you might pick. Let's say...Standing Rock.

Actual legal conditions, land, burial and ownership records and previous legal proceedings have no part of the discussion if you are on the left. These are "inconvenient' facts. The "alt" facts are that the American process has bulldozed the Native people and there is no moral grounds for standing against their best interests and the interests of their coming generations.

Global Warming. It has changed monikers but it is still essentially an unprovable theory which is embraced by the developed world. Unfortunately for the underdeveloped world, it may be a death sentence as blight conditions persist and medical innovations never seem to make it far into the bush.

Finally the Black Lives Matter movement. It was started based upon a lie. Now think about that. Though the very same dispicable act of police aggression had claimed the lives of a disproportionate number of young black men previously, the large riots and marches and eventually police assasinations began after a story on social media lied about the fact that Michael Brown was unarmed and complying with the officer's orders, "Hands up, don't shoot". Well he didn't have his hands up, and he was spoiling for a confrontation. This didn't matter to the movement.

This is an example of living in an "alt" reality. I frankly admit plenty of "alt" facts brought forth by the conservative right. But far worse is the record of the Progressive movement, the militant women's movement, the LGBT movement, Lulac, La Raza, Black Lives Matter, the Black Panthers, the KKK, Aryan Brotherhood and racial gangs all across the fruited plain.

The Trump Treatment

Today, British Prime Minister May spoke of great times again ahead for the United States and a renewed close alliance going forward. I'm sure this horrified the opposition there in the UK, but her conservative party won, and a vote to leave the European Union was passed and Britain exited similarly shocking the establishment just as Trump's election did.

I heard today that the DOW is over 20,000, I remember when it went over 10,000 during Clinton's term. The stock market is climbing and Trump's promise was to get the economy rolling again. It looks like he had been hard at work shoring up business alliances and getting the captains of industry onboard. If the first 100 days show anything, it was that Donald J. Trump came out of the gate at full speed.
Hopefully he'll reign in the Banking sector and the Junk bond traders. These manipulators have been milking the system for a long, long time.

We have been warned for years from a previously fringe-held minority that the bankers are the cause of our fragile economy. Those voices were elevated in recent years into the national discussion, but are still considered the fringe. There is another widespread movement afoot, which is to withdraw your savings from FDIC banks and deposit into Credit Unions and investing it into prescious metals. This means the volume of the banking sector will be shrinking. You can bet plenty of "alt" facts and dire warnings will come in the near future regarding the banks.

Welcome to the Trump Era

One thing is for sure, it won't be dull and boring

Election

The 2016 Elections, both the primary and the general were marred by calls of everything from voter fraud to voter suppression and more.

Calls of voter fraud, ironically were uncovered post-election by the Green Party Candidate Jill Stein; fraud perpetrated against Republican voters.

Calls of voter suppression, which are nothing new; it's the standard Democrat response to requiring identification to vote; perpetrated against Democratic voters.

Russian hacking alleged by the US Intelligence community but denied by Vladimir Putin and (Wikileaks founder), Julian Assange. Assange has suggested, darkly, that the "leaker" of the DNC emails was DNC staffer Seth Rich, who was murdered on a dark DC street shortly before the "leaked" emails came to light.

Allegedly leaked DNC emails showing collusion to get rid of Democratic Sen. Bernie Sanders during the primary elections and guarantee Hillary Clinton's nomination. The Emails hacked or leaked were of DNC and Clinton campaign staffer John Podesta who's password was, and I'm not kidding, "password",

Death threats, calls for resignation, calls of collusion, calls of improper voting, calls of ineligible votes cast...all for the electorals!  All in the continuing desperate attempt to unseat Donald J. Trump from his election victory and ascension to the Presidency.

Trump's campaign rallies during the primary and general elections were seeded with paid protesters, who infiltrated and caused trouble inside the meeting arenas, and incited violence outside the arenas on Trump supporters who were leaving after the rally. This happened several times during the year, and it was later discovered via the leaked/hacked emails that the DNC had actively participated in the recruitment, the direction and delivery of these violent agitators at Trump's rallies.

Media

The media and celebrity opposition to the Trump election is over the top hyperbole and fear mongering. The wide belief in the liberal circles is they were caught off guard: since a Trump victory was a laughable long-shot, it was a "given" that Hillary would sweep the elections. They were caught sleeping alright, turns out many didn't bother to vote. Our actual voter turnout was very poor: well below half the population.

Nothing but negative pieces about Trump published across the country by online publications, nothing but rosy, feel good pieces written about Hillary. The Media, and the Hillary campaign, which was "I'm for Her", couldn't understand the traction Trump was getting and the attendence numbers at his campaign stops. His message was resonating with the "...deplorables" as Hillary condemned them, and it turned into a sweeping victory November 8.

The media response? Now they are publishing every negative article again, no difference, but also is featuring any, no matter how small, opposition group to Trump and their excited anticipation to the overturning of the election results, first by the above conspiracy theories and the latest, ineligibility of some electors and a possible challenge to the results mounted by a Democrat in Congress today, the last possible day such a challenge may be presented.

Trump

Trumps message is what resonated with the voters. Practically no one is as rich and powerful, and by contrast, he doesn't embody the typical American middle class voter, yet what he claimed was important to him was embraced fiercely by these blue collar citizens;  Taking better care of Veterans, closing the border, making America competitive again in the world market, and reexamining our trade agreements for a lopsided benefit/liability ratio.

He also claimed he would "drain the swamp" in Washington D.C. Frequently the Donald will make statements like this and not offer explanations. Time and time again, he is defending statements which he'll say were a joke, or taken out of context or offer some other poorly worded statement. Let's drain the swamp of lobbyists, special interest groups and other outside interests in play with the Congress. There is a bunch of leeching going on in DC, it's a cesspool of snakes and jackals feeding off the system. These special interests have the money to throw around to "grease the wheels" of Congress to get agendas pushed through whether that be new laws, or blocking of laws.

Trump said he'll discontinue the practice of "sanctuary cities" by denying funds to those cities who's leadership refuse to stop providing services to illegal/undocumented workers. Cities like Los Angeles and San Fransisco are digging in their heels, it's going to be a protracted legal battle.

Trump also promised to repeal several laws and executive orders the outgoing President had gotten in place, one first and foremost; Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Warnings of it's rising cost and limited services are becoming reality now and the Republican led Congress under Paul Ryan are examining alternatives. So far it's being called Obamacare 2.0

Trump has a penchant for sending tweets out about anything he pleases. And we're pretty sure he doesn't run them past his handling team. Tweets which gloat about his victory and other personal narcissistic aspects as well as strong language towards US and foreign businesses and manufacturers causing calamity in the real world. The media latches onto these ill-concieved tweets and you can bet they're keeping score.

Voters

I'm amazed with the level of outcry from the opposition in this election. Not only did they never, ever think Trump could truly win, when he did it kicked off a period of alternating sever depression and extreme apprehension. So much so that the liberals on my Facebook feed and on every left-leaning news article's comment section seem genuinely unhinged, ready to believe a rash of new "fake news" blitzing our media and calling for racial reinforcing in the face of this racial "destruction" as Trump's election has been characterized.

Trump switched parties to compete in this election. His party was always Democrat and he had been a Clinton supporter in the past. Comments he made in the past about Republican voters didn't seem to impact him negatively though, comments about how stupid they must be to vote for the Republican candidates that were being trotted out.

And the Lefty and Liberal institutions have lost their minds.

We may see another swing just starting out with this divisive election result:
The swing in voter results to this point are relatively easy to understand:
8 years of Clinton gave us a swing over to George W. Bush.
8 years of his policies and we saw a wild swing further left to Barack Obama.
8 years later another even more extreme swing and we have Donald J. Trump.

Who knows, we may be at the onset of another wild swing by the citizens of this country. A visceral, knee-jerk quick-fix results-now demand by voting in a far-left candidate to make Clinton and Obama look like Townhall editors!
